Bradford Bulls Wheelchair Team 2024

The Bradford Bulls Wheelchair Rugby League Club was formed in January 2009 to bring wheelchair sport back in to Bradford. Wheelchair Rugby League is the most inclusive sport bringing together both able bodied and disabled players, of any gender, over the age of 12.

The Bradford Bulls Wheelchair Rugby league team have had a great deal of success over the years and they currently play in the RFL’s Wheelchair RL Championship East division. .

The Team train and play at Sedburgh Sport Centre Bradford, which is one of the few facilities in the country with a full size fully marked out indoor pitch.

A number of our recent players have progressed onto the Future of England Pathway, including our current Coach Keiron Johnson and our current Vice Captain Isabelle Wright

The team are part of the Bradford Bulls Foundation delivering not only weekly training sessions and a competitive playing squad but also take any opportunity to work within many schools, colleges and community events across the Bradford District and beyond.

Behind the Scenes

Non of this would be possible without the support of a dedicated band of volunteers who support the team with transport , maintenance , ,gameday and administrative duties,

A great deal of time and effort  goes into not only producing a competitive team but also a set-up which is a real asset to the community, helping to raise awareness of disabilities and providing activities for inclusiveness.
